MAFIA WARS How to win fights guide

The factors that determine a fight outcome in Mafia Wars are:

Your Mafia size
Your weapons, armor and vehicles
Your attack value in your character profile

The first thing we will cover is your Mafia. Not all Mafia Wars players have the luxury of having so many friends that they can add them to there Mafia, but this shouldn't be a problem because if your Mafia for example is only 50 members, then you should only fight with other Mafia who have similar Mafia members (say between 1 and 100). The max is 501 (that is you plus 500 of your Mafia). You can have 1000 Mafia members but still you will only fight with 501 maximum.

If you only have 50 Mafia members in your family and you attack a Mafia with 501 members then you are most certainly going to get beat, so think twice before attack a Mafia with lots more members than you. But if you have at least 500 members, then you can attack any Mafia, and with the next tips you should have a greater chance of winning.

Your Weapons, armor and vehicles play an important part in a fight. Every item you use as an attack and defense value. So if you want to win fights you should go for weapons that have an high attack number. The best items are looted from jobs and not purchased from the inventory stores. See below to show you the best weapons, armor and vehicles in New York, Cuba, Moscow and Bangkok:

Best New York items for attack:

Weapon = Napalm (25 attack - 9 defense)
Armor = Federal Agent (15 attack - 25 defense)
Vehicle = Multi-Purpose Truck (26 attack - 22 defense)

Best Cuba items for attack:

Weapon = TNT (42 attack - 20 defense)
Armor = Guerrilla Squad (34 attack - 30 defense)
Vehicle = Track Loader (37 attack - 32 defense)

Best Moscow items for attack:

Weapon = Ubijca Assault Rifle (43 attack - 18 defense)
Armor = Shturmovik (45 attack - 28 defense)
Vehicle = Zoloto Sports Car (42 attack - 22 defense)

Best Bangkok items for attack:

Weapon = Tanto (43 attack - 28 defense)
Armor = Optical Camo Suit (43 attack - 26 defense)
Vehicle = Royal Thai Army Jeep (38 attack - 25 defense)

You should get the amount of items that matches your Mafia size (up to a maximum of 501). Here is an example: If your Mafia size is 50, then you should aim to get 50 of the best attack weapon, 50 of the best attack armor and 50 of the best attack vehicle from the location you are playing on from the above list. When you fight, the game will automatically use your best attack weapon, armor and vehicle for each member of your Mafia family.

lastly, we will talk about your character profile which is actually the most important part. From the very start of Mafia Wars you are given profile points and for every time you level up you are given 5 more profile points to spend. You can use your Godfather points to purchase profile points which is recommended if you want to be a fighter and of course win the fights and you can also gain attack points by vaulting some collections as follows:

POKER CHIPS COLLECTION: Gives you +2 Attack
CLUB FLUSH COLLECTION: Gives you +3 Attack
BOXING COLLECTION: Gives you +3 Attack
TROPICAL FISH COLLECTION: Gives you +5 Attack
RUSSIAN LEADERS COLLECTION: Gives you +4 Attack
CARVINGS COLLECTION: Gives you +4 Attack

And you can get Boosts that will give you extra attack points which will help you to win fights:

Semi-Pro Boxer gives you +15 attack skill
Sting Grenade gives you +20 attack skill
Corporate Muscle gives you +35 attack skill
Flaming Shot gives you +30 attack skill
Blowfish Dart gives you +40 attack skill
Liquid Courage gives you +44 attack skill
War Paint gives you +32 attack skill
Chisel gives you +34 attack skill
Handy Man gives you +38 attack skill

When you get profile points you have options on where to use them: attack, defense, health, energy and stamina. You should concentrate your profile points on attack, some on stamina and some on health.

An example would be let's say you just moved up a level and have 5 profile points to use, put 3 on attack, 1 on health and 1 on stamina. Or you just could put all 5 points on attack! But that's up to you!

Attack points are very important to the winning of fights. You could have 501 Mafia size, 501 of the best weapons, armors and vehicles, but little attack points, and then attack a Mafia size of only 50 and you could lose!

The way to win fights are really simple:

1) Get more Mafia members
2) Get the best attack weapons, armors and vehicles
3) Increase your attack profile points
